Suzy Troyer
Dance and Tumbling Instructor
Suzy started teaching gymnastics in 1998 at Lima Gymnastics Academy. After high school, Suzy moved to Columbus and taught at Midwest Gymnastics and Cheerleading in Dublin while she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education from The Ohio State University. After returning to Lima, she was the program director for the Lima Rebels competitive cheerleading program where she earned numerous regional and national titles. She has also coached cheerleading at Bath and Lima Central Catholic and taught gymnastics at the Lima YMCA and No Limit Athletics. A former competitive dancer herself, Suzy is excited to get to share her love of dance and gymnastics with all of the students at The Arts Center in tumbling and acro classes. Suzy is a registered nurse at St. Rita’s Medical Center where she is the clinical nurse manager of the intensive care unit. Suzy lives in Elida with her husband Ben and their children Mason and Cameron. They enjoy traveling and and spending time together as a family.
